The Tanker Holster was born out of a need for a easy access system where traditional belt or thigh holsters were not practical. Classically seen worn by tankers and pilots, today you can still see these used by military personnel as well as backpackers, hikers, and atv off roaders.
The Ares Tactical Tanker Chest Holster is based on the 1940’s US Military M7 Tanker Holster. We have designed in a lot of improvements including using weatherproof Kydex, allowing greater adjustability in sizing and retention. Additionally, we have designed the holster to be adjustable in the carry angle. It can be rotated to near horizontal. This allows for a more natural draw angle to fit your body.
The Ares Tactical Tanker Chest Holster can also be configured in the M3 Tanker style that uses a single sling style loop
Unlike the original military M3 and M7 Tanker Holsters, ours can be ordered in dozens of different firearms and colors. Optional Crye Multicam, Coyote Brown, OD Green, and other webbing colors can be substituted at additional cost.

Do you get the OWB or IWB or spend twice the money and get two? Is your box full of holsters to cover every carry method? Simplify life and get the Ares Tactical Double Duty Holster. This is available in a variety of colors and camouflage patterns. For OWB (Outside the waistband carry we use the BladeTeck Tek Lok. It is configurable for belts from 1.25 inches to 2.25 inches. You can also adjust the ride height and cant (forward and back). The back cant is popular with USPSA shooters and people looking for a crossdraw. The outside has a IWB overhook loop standard. The Ulticlip is popular available option for a minimal visual profile. It also allows you to carry the holster without wearing a belt or clipping inside your purse, pack, or double AR/AR mag pouch. The user can easily remove the side they don’t need at the time with a Philips head screwdriver. It take only seconds to swap back. The body of the holster is constructed of .080 Kydex or for some finishes Holstex. Both offer excellent resistance to chemicals and environmental conditions. Hot, cold, wet or dry will not harm your holster. Other thicknesses are available as a custom order. Although we feel .080 offers the best balance of properties. The .060 thickness will do the job but feels flimsy to most people and is not nearly as strong for an OWB holster. Ares Tactical offers 21 different color and pattern options as well as your custom image infused on Kydex. Molle Holster
The MOLLE Holster provides full slide protection while minimizing the real estate used on your belt or vest. The additional slide coverage helps protect your rear sight and firearm. Custom lower profile slide coverage is also available. Supplied with dual MALICE Clips, the MOLLE Holster mounts easily and securely. There are multiple vertical height adjustments as well as horizontal mounting. Mounting solutions using G-Code RTI system, Safariland QLS and ELS, or Blade-Tech Tek-Lok can be done on a custom basis too. If you want added versatility you can get the optional rigid belt loop is available for $10. They are available in 1.5, 1.75, and 2″ and come with all the necessary hardware. The nearly indestructible Kydex body withstands the rigors of being in the field. Hot, cold, dry or wet is will will not matter. Wrap around muzzle design protects the muzzle, keeps your clothes cleaner, and is far more comfortable than exposed versions. An added benefit is it allows plenty of clearance for drainage. New for 2015 are the adjustable tension screws. This will allow you to easily fine tune the retention of your holster. New for 2017 are the options for slide coverage.
