Double Shell Holder
The Double Shell Holder is designed to get you quick access to two 12ga shot shells. The single centralized tension screw allows the user to fine tune the grip on your shells. This can give you the exact hold you need for vigorous combative activities or more casual field and range usage. The Double Shell Holder uses Blade Tech Tek-Lok bet attachment. This highly versatile mount allows you to properly size it for belts up to 2.25″ wide. This is a vast improvement in stability over other designs that do not have adjustments for different belt widths. The width of the TekLok also provides stability left and right over skinny clip type holders. The holder is designed to allow easy access to the shells weather you choose to hinged Tek Lok on the top or bottom. While having the hinge of the clamshell style Tek Lok is most common some prefer the have the hinge on the bottom so that the locking mechanism faces up. Some find this easier to put on and take off the belt. Using an optional Molle Clip or Molle-Lok will allow you to take the Double Shell Holder and mount it to your tactical vest, plate carrier, or battle belt. The body of the shot shell holder is constructed of .080 Kydex or for some finishes Holstex. Both offer excellent resistance to environmental conditions. Hot, cold, wet or dry will not harm your holster. Other thicknesses are available as a custom order. Although we feel .080 offers the best properties in terms of durability and weight. The .060 thickness will do the job but feels flimsy to most people. The picture above shows standard 2 3/4″ shotgun shells in the holder. You could use shorter shells or the longer 3″ and 3 1/2″ length rounds. If you have any questions just reach out to us using the contact information at the bottom of the page.$30.00
Glock Knife Sheath v1
The Glock Field Knife is an excellent knife. There are many thousands in use around the world for good reason. The biggest complaint that most users have is the included sheath. It lacks various mounting options, is difficult to take out, and for some make too much noise. The Ares Tactical Glock Knife Sheath for the Glock M78 and M81 Field Knife solves these problems. We built a two piece sheath, sometimes called a pancake because of the layers looking like a stack of flapjacks. This design allow for many different mounting options. If you are wanting a molle clip, closed belt loop, IWB soft loop, or Ulticlip we have it for you. Attachment options are selected in the OPTIONS section below. The second most complained about problem with the factory knife sheath is the knife is too difficult to take out. This is especially true if you are wearing gloves. Knife retention is the most difficult issue to solve for a sheath. Too loose and you know that knife will probably be lost in the woods somewhere. To tight like the factory and you struggle to release it when you need it most. What the Ares Tactical Glock Knife Sheath has done is designed a sheath that locks in place but can easily be removed when you grip the handle and press the back locking tab. For those only wanting a friction fit that is an option. Another benefit of our design is the opening gives you more than a 50% increase in the opening at the top. This will make it easier to put you knife away. Like I say when holstering a pistol, it it still a good idea to look the knife into the sheath. No sense is stabbing your gear or self to save a second or two on securing the blade. Molding the Kydex to the knife provides a tighter fit to the blade. This reduces rattle or slap inside the sheath from the knife banging into the sheath. This also means anything hitting the outside of the sheath will be quieter too. These are molded for RIGHT HAND use. If you want a left hand version choose that in the options section. There are currently three width sizing on the Glock Knife Sheath V1. This helps you fine tune the sheath to your needs. The standard width is the narrowest width. Spacing is soley based on the width of the knife blade. Next wider option is the Standard Molle width. This is for attaching to the standard webbing stitched every 1.5″ wide. This gives you about 1.4″ room between the stitches. When you have something using laser cut molle slots the opening is about 1.1″ but still 1.5″ to the next opening. So, your wiggle room using standard 1″ wide straps is minimized. This means the Standard Molle Width snuggly fits in two MOLLE columns. The Laser Cut MOLLE take three vertical columns. Updated Option Feb 2024: We are now offering a steel pommel modification to Glock knives at time of purchase. This cold-blued steel pommel is great for crushing things with the butt of your knife or hammering in nails or tent stakes. It also gives you easier access to the storage area inside the handle. The added weight also shifts the balance from blade forward to the handle. This is change in balance is preferred by many knife fighters as it make changes in direction quicker. Here’s why you may want a knife with the balance point closer to the butt: Control and Precision When the weight is biased toward the handle, the knife feels more anchored in your grip. This gives you better control over the blade’s movement, especially for tasks requiring finesse, like slicing, carving, or detailed cutting. The lighter blade tip responds quickly to wrist movements, reducing fatigue and improving accuracy. For a field knife like the Glock, this can be handy for skinning game, preparing food, or crafting tools where precision beats raw power. Reduced Fatigue A handle-heavy knife shifts the center of gravity closer to your hand, making it less taxing to hold and maneuver over time. If the balance were blade-heavy, your wrist would have to work harder to keep the tip from dropping, especially during prolonged use. For a military or survival context, where you might be using the knife for hours—say, building a shelter or processing wood—this can make a big difference in conserving energy. Safety With the weight in the handle, the blade is less likely to “lead” or pull away from you unexpectedly. This can be a safety perk, particularly in high-stress situations or when working in awkward positions (e.g., cutting upward or in tight spaces). It minimizes the chance of the knife slipping out of control, which is critical for a tool designed for rugged, unpredictable environments like the Glock knife’s intended use. Thrusting and Stabbing A handle-heavy design can enhance thrusting or stabbing motions, common in combat or self-defense scenarios. The weight near the hand lets you drive the blade forward with more force and stability, as the momentum starts from your grip rather than the blade pulling itself along. Since the Glock knife doubles as a bayonet (mountable on a Steyr AUG), this balance aligns with its potential as a weapon, where penetration power matters more than chopping efficiency. Our version of the sheath has a bottom and side drain hole. This allows plenty of drainage for when it gets wet. As with any knife you should dry and oil it as soon as possible if it gets wet. The standard sheath is about 3″ wide. There is a wider version that is about 3.8″ wide that allows both columns of eyelets to align with three width molle section.$40.00

Thigh Holster
Whether you call it a Thigh Holster, Leg Holster, or Drop Leg Holster they all free up belt space and provide extra clearance around body armor to access your pistol. It is also easier to draw from your support hand. The Ares Tactical Thigh Holster is highly versatile. It is adjustable for ride height, including being able to remove the top strap. Both let straps feature rubberized strips that help prevent twisting or unwanted movement. Dual tension screw allow you to adjust the force needed to draw. All holsters come mounted directly to the thigh platform. We do offer a variety quick-release interchangeable hardware that allow your to swap holster quickly or the move your holster from one platform to another easily. Some of the more popular are the Blade-Tech TMMS, Safariland QLS, and G-Code RTI. Essentially they all serve the same function but are not interoperable between brands. One side mounts to the holster (Insert/fork/hanger) and the other mounts to platform (thigh panel/ belt slide, molle adapter) and this is usually called the plate. Is one any better than another? That’s a personal preference as they all have their own following. TMMS puts it off the body the least, RTI is the easiest to swap out. QLS is the most ubiquitous. Additional holsters can be ordered by choosing our Molle Holster and Molle Weaponlight Holster. We try to provide the highest level of flexibility and cost savings. Just let us know at the time of order so we can pre-drill the correct hole spacing at no extra charge. As with all our Kydex Holsters, the Thigh Holster is Made in the USA by veterans using parts and materials made in the US. Update 12 January 2021: We have brought in some Blade-Tech thigh panels to offer more colors and hopefully have a more consistent supply on hand. These feature a semi-rigid polymer platform with dual leg adjustments and an adjustable drop hanger with a quick release side buckle. Thigh panel colors we have on hand are available in the drop down menu. Currently only Coyote Brown (code 498) Cordura is in stock.$130.00

Hybrid Holster
Hybrid holsters have been very popular over the last decade. Providing the conforming nature of leather on the backside and the rugged form fitted Kydex on the outside blends the two spectrum’s of holster design. This is the Ares Tactical take featuring sturdy leather back and .080 Kydex. The Kydex Holster design allows you to have multiple shells and one leather backer. The opening is slightly flared to make holstering easier. The full wrap muzzle is standard. This protects the front sight from damage or become caught up on your clothes. Weaponlight Holster
Depending on the figures you look at, between 60-85% of shootings occur in low light. When time is of the essence, having weapon light already mounted to your handgun could be the edge you need. Modeled similarly to The Standard Holster, the Weapon light holster can be configured for belt carry or inside-the-waistband (IWB). Pictured is a Sig Sauer P226 9mm with a Streamlight TLR-1 weapon light in OD Green. The base model comes in black with 1.75″ belt loops. Other color and attachment methods are available. The body of the holster is constructed of .080 Kydex or, for some finishes, Holstex. Both offer excellent resistance to environmental conditions. Hot, cold, wet or dry will not harm your holster. Other thicknesses are available as a custom order. Although we feel .080 offers the best properties. The .060 thickness will do the job but feels flimsy to most people. Standard belt loops are made of very rigid .125 Kydex. Optional J-Hook or soft belt loops extends the versatility of this holster to be carried inside the waistband (IWB). Like the Standard Holster, the Weaponlight Holster has belt loop positions that allow four carry heights and different angles. The highest position of the belt loops allows the pistol to sit lowest on your belt. This will roughly place the trigger guard at the belt level. The belt loops can be dropped down to the next set of eyelets making for a slightly higher ride. Flipping the belt loops upside down with further raise the ride of the holster. Inverting the belt loops for a very high ride, as with any holster, should only be done with a stiff belt. As always , if you do not see your pistol, light, or bells and whistles listed below please contact us. We do a lot of custom work and strive to deliver just what you want. If you don’t see your pistol listed below check out our updated Pistol and Revolver page.$65.00
