Product Description
The Belt Drop Holster is the happy place(ment) between having a belt holster and thigh holster. The mid drop design fits belts up to 2.25″ with an adjustable belt sizer. Holsters come shipped in the neutral vertical position but can be easily adjusted for forward or back cant angle with a standard Philips screwdriver.
Retention can adjusted via the 2-3 tension screws. Additional levels of security can be had with the Thumb Break option. This rubberized laminated webbing secures across the rear of the slide and is easy to manipulate under stress. This strap is also removable.
The single thigh strap helps stabilize the dropped holster. The leg strap features rubber anti-slip strips to minimize shifting while active. There is also an elastic webbing for additional comfort. This strap is also removable.
All holsters come mounted directly to the belt drop platform. We do offer a variety quick-release interchangeable hardware that allow your to swap holster quickly or the move your holster from one platform to another easily. Some of the more popular are the Blade-Tech TMMS, Safariland QLS, and G-Code RTI. Essentially they all serve the same function but are not interoperable between brands. One side mounts to the holster (Insert/fork/hanger) and the other mounts to platform (thigh panel/ belt slide, molle adapter) and this is usually called the plate. Is one any better than another? That’s a personal preference as they all have their own following. TMMS puts it off the body the least, RTI is the easiest to swap out. QLS is the most ubiquitous.
There is some adjustment in the holster placement in the Belt Drop dependent if you have a light selected. This can be 3/4″ to 1.5″

Shoulder Holster Pistol
This is a pistol holster only for use with a shoulder harness system. This is a great add on for people who already have a shoulder holster rig but just need to add a different pistol. The Shoulder Holster Pistol comes with 1″ strap adapters common with most shoulder holster rigs found on the market including the Ares Tactical Shoulder Holste or the LIC (Low Intensity Conflct) Rig. Hybrid Holster
Hybrid holsters have been very popular over the last decade. Providing the conforming nature of leather on the backside and the rugged form fitted Kydex on the outside blends the two spectrum’s of holster design. This is the Ares Tactical take featuring sturdy leather back and .080 Kydex. The Kydex Holster design allows you to have multiple shells and one leather backer. The opening is slightly flared to make holstering easier. The full wrap muzzle is standard. This protects the front sight from damage or become caught up on your clothes. As an added benefit it keeps your clothes clean from powder and oil from the slide and muzzle. Also, the wrapped muzzle reduces sharp edges and wear that can tear holes in your pants. Notice the rounded and treated edges of the leather. We take the extra time to do this because it makes carrying more comfortable and it looks good too. IWB Soft loops are a great option for those wanting something more secure that the traditional metal clips. The pull-the-dot snaps allow easy on and off. Competition Holster for IDPA and USPSA Go to our new Competition Holster page. The Competition Holster is perfect for IDPA and USPSA action shooting matches, general range use, or everyday carry. The low cut front allows the pistol to clear the holster faster and get on target sooner. If you measure time by the hundreths of a second this is the holster you want on your side. Dual retention screws lets you fine tune the draw effort. You can make this as secure as you want. Adjustment are made with a common Phillips screwdriver meeting IDPA requirements. A fully enclosed trigger guard meets all competitive sports rules and recommendations of most professional trainers. The low cut front is a popular feature. It allows you to clear the holster faster and get your muzzle pointed downrange sooner. This is also compatible with Trijicon RMR, Burris Fast Fire, and JP Rifles JPoint style slide mounted micro red dot sights. Bodyguard IWB Holster
The Bodyguard IWB Holster grew out of a need for a comfortable IWB (Inside the Waistband) holster that was highly concealable, reliable, and easy put on or take off. This Kydex holster is ambidextrous and can be configured for right and left hand carry. Wrap around muzzle design protects the muzzle, keeps your clothes cleaner, and is far more comfortable than exposed versions. The tuckable J-hook allows for full concealment with minimal hook showing. An optional pull-the-dot soft loop kit is available for $10. Also consider the new UltiClip. This is a great solution for those men and women who do not wear belts or want an even more concealed carry Kydex holster The body of the holster is constructed of .080 Kydex. The .060 thickness will do the job but feels flimsy to most people and sometimes is a little more difficult to holster. The extra stiffness over the .060 is something IDPA competitors will appreciate. The J-hook made of very strong .125 Kydex. This style is also called an appendix carry holster. The minimal width of the wrap around construction lends itself to placing almost anywhere on the belt. The appendix carry refers to placing the holster forward of the hip bone or the 2 o’clock position for a right-handed shooter. It is equally well suited 3, 4, or 5 o’clock carry depending on your preference. This is a IWB Kydex Holster you can wear all day and love the comfort and security it offers. As with any screw hardware; it is recommended that after final set up is made that you use threadlocker on the screws to prevent accidental loosening.
